UNRWA T-SHIRT

On Sept 12, 2020 UNRWA USA held their annual 5k fundraiser to support refugees in the Gaza Strip. Funds from the virtual festival went to support mental health services in Gaza and also Lebanon post-explosion. For decades, UNRWA has been working to relieve the devastation Palestinians face from Israeli colonial violence.

As the 2020 featured designer, I was honord to create this original t-shirt given to registered attendees as incentive for their participation. I created an original collage using historic UN photos from Gaza,  contemporary fonts, and the United Nation’s logo and official blue color. The final product is a refreshing  aesthetic for UNRWA while honoring it’s past legacy. The t-shirt was enjoyed by many on social media as funds were raised to support this mission.
